Eligibility Requirements For Our National Workshops
All of our IMW events are designed specifically for individuals who are either a part of or closely associated with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or organisations.
When considering applications for our National IMW Workshop, priority is given to those engaged in the field of mapping and encountering obstacles in obtaining the specific technology they need.
Among those currently experiencing these challenges and obstacles are, but are not limited to:
Indigenous Ranger Groups
Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage Groups
Arts, Language, and Cultural Centres

The IMW Australia program, in collaboration with its strategic partners, is committed to advancing culturally sensitive and inclusive geospatial technologies that serve Indigenous leadership, agencies, and communities, reinforcing Indigenous rights and interests. Through our engaging partnerships with sponsors and volunteers, our National and Supported in-person workshops help close the digital divide for Indigenous Australians.
