Winyama #COVID-19 Update

Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19) at Winyama

As efforts to reduce the reach of COVID-19 continue, Winyama’s priority is to protect the health of our people, our clients, their families and our community. As a result, we are recommending that where possible, our people work from home from Monday 23rd March 2020 through to Friday 3rd April 2020.

As many may know, remote and rural Indigenous Australians are among the most vulnerable to COVID-19, and we consider it our utmost priority to keep those members of our community safe. The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation posts regular updates regarding the status of COVID-19 and has published methods that you can follow in order to minimise the spread.

We are monitoring the advice of the Government and health authorities and these dates may be revised if the situation improves before or continues beyond this time frame.

Our clients have our reassurance that it is business as usual and our team are fully contactable during this period. We have well-established technology and IT systems for working remotely, and these allow us to take these measures without interrupting our client service delivery. We already have a very mobile workforce that keep very productive regardless of location. All customer and system support will continue in an uninterrupted way.

If you have a meeting scheduled with us, or you’d like to book in a meeting with us, our team will be in touch to make arrangements to conduct the meeting by phone, teleconference or video conferencing facilities, should this be required.

This precautionary measure comes at a time where we believe it is socially responsible and necessary.  We very much value our relationships with our clients, and we thank them for their ongoing business and support as we take this temporary measure.

If you have questions about our availability during this time, please get in touch with our team.

From our team to yours, we hope you stay safe and well.
