Drone Imagery Processing and Analysis
At Winyama, we go the extra mile by offering drone imagery processing and analysis services. Our processing solutions ensure that clients receive comprehensive and actionable insights. By combining technology with our expertise, we transform raw drone data into valuable intelligence, enabling businesses to make informed decisions and stay ahead in their respective fields.
Drone data is useful for archiving and monitoring changes detected on landscapes. Drone data can also be used to develop orthomosaics and Digital Elevation Models (DEMs). If you need assistance setting up a processing solution for your drone data, we can help.
What is an Orthomosaic?
An orthomosaic is a drone map composed through stitching together many individual still images of a landscape. The data in an orthomosaic is presented in a similar fashion to satellite imagery however, when properly processed it can be more accurate and can be zoomed in and out without distortion. Orthomosaics benefit regionally-based organisations that may not have access to good quality satellite imagery.
They can be used for:
Mapping weeds and feral animals.
Practising fire management regimes.
Monitoring waterways and river systems.
Mapping vegetation.
What are Digital Elevation Models?
Digital Elevation Models are three-dimensional (3D) models of the surface of an area of land.
Among the many benefits to mapping country in 3D, Digital Elevation Models can be used for:
Land and coastal modelling analysis.
Land management mapping.
Industry consultation.
Time Lapse Drone Visualisation
In addition to our comprehensive drone imagery processing and analysis, we specialise in time lapse drone imagery visualisation. Differing from our commercial service above, we utilise your captured data, and create dynamic visual narratives over time to meet your requirements.
Our expertise in transforming this data into captivating visualisations not only enhances project monitoring but also serves as a powerful communication tool, allowing your stakeholders to witness and understand the evolution of landscapes, structures, or environmental conditions.
